Nara Rohith Biography:
Nara Rohith, born on July 25, 1985, is an Indian actor and producer primarily working in Telugu cinema. A graduate of the New York Film Academy, he has made a mark with notable films like Baanam (2009), Solo (2011), Prathinidhi (2014), Rowdy Fellow (2014), Asura (2015), and Jyo Achyutananda (2016). In addition to acting, Rohith owns the production company Aran Media Works.
Nara Rohith Family & Early Life:
Nara Rohit is the son of Nara Ramamurthy Naidu and the nephew of N. Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He completed his schooling in Hyderabad and pursued his Intermediate studies at Vignan College, Vadlamudi. Rohit holds a B.Tech degree in Industrial Biotechnology from Anna University, Chennai. Following this, he attended the New York Film Academy for an acting course and also completed a filmmaking course in Los Angeles.
Nara Rohith Career:
Rohit made his acting debut with Baanam, directed by first-time filmmaker Chaitanya Dantuluri, which was released on September 16, 2009. The film received critical acclaim. His second film, Solo, directed by Parasuram and released on November 25, 2011, achieved moderate success. In 2012, Rohit took on a special role in Ravi Teja’s Sarocharu.
In 2013, Rohit starred alongside Nithya Menon in Okkadine, directed by Srinivas Raga, although the film didn’t perform well at the box office. He also served as the narrator for the film Swamy Ra Ra, featuring Nikhil Siddharth and Swati Reddy.
On Rohit’s birthday, the motion poster for Balakrishnudu was released, showcasing his impressive physical transformation. After facing body-shaming comments, he revealed his new fit and toned physique, crediting director Pavan Mallela for motivating him to lose weight. The poster was well received by fans.
In May 2024, Rohit’s movie Prathinidhi 2, directed by Murthy Devagupthapu, was released.
