Director Vignesh Shivan celebrated his 39th birthday on September 18, and his wife, actress Nayanthara, ensured it was a memorable one. After enjoying a celebration with friends in Dubai, the couple jetted off to Greece for a romantic vacation, where they are currently spending quality time before returning to work.

Nayanthara and Vignesh have shared glimpses of their getaway on Instagram, including moments from their stay at Kalesma Mykonos, where they were greeted with a personal note and a framed family photo. Vignesh shared stunning views from their hotel room, while Nayanthara posted a sweet picture of the couple twinning in white shirts, complete with angel, heart, and evil eye emojis.

Earlier, Nayanthara also shared a picture of Vignesh cutting his birthday cake in Dubai, surrounded by friends. The couple posted romantic photos from their birthday dinner, with Nayanthara writing a heartfelt message: “Happyyyy Birthday My Everything. I love you beyond words could ever explain! God bless you with everything you wish for in life, my uyir ulagam.” For the occasion, Nayanthara donned a black top with an olive green jacket, while Vignesh sported a black T-shirt.

Nayanthara, last seen in Annapoorani, where she portrayed a chef overcoming challenges in a conservative family, faced some controversy after its Netflix release. She is set to appear in Test, alongside R. Madhavan and Siddharth, and has several upcoming projects, including Thani Oruvan 2, Good Bad Ugly, Mookuthi Amman 2, and Maharani.

Meanwhile, Vignesh Shivan is directing a film titled Love Insurance Kompany, featuring Pradeep Ranganathan of Love Today fame.
