Amid the ongoing flood relief efforts in Andhra Pradesh, where the Deputy Chief Minister is actively overseeing operations, Pawan Kalyan has made a significant contribution. He announced a donation of Rs. 1 crore each to the Andhra Pradesh CM Relief Fund and the Telangana CM Relief Fund.
In addition to this, Pawan Kalyan pledged an additional Rs. 4 crores to support flood relief in Andhra Pradesh. This generous amount will be distributed among 400 flood-affected panchayats across the state. Speaking at a press interaction, Pawan Kalyan explained, “I felt that Rs. 1 crore wouldn’t be sufficient considering the scale of destruction caused by the floods. Therefore, I am pledging another Rs. 4 crores to the 400 panchayats impacted by the floods.”
He further added, “Our neighboring state, Telangana, has also suffered due to the floods. As a result, I am donating Rs. 1 crore to the TS CM Relief Fund. I will personally meet Revanth Reddy Garu to hand over the amount. To those who criticize me for not being present on the ground, I invite them to join my convoy to truly understand the situation. I also want to thank the film industry celebrities who have shown generosity and support during these challenging times.”
