Powerstar Pawan Kalyan Donates Rs. 6 Crores for Flood Relief in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is admired by millions, not only for his cinematic achievements but also for his unwavering commitment to public welfare. Amid the ongoing flood relief efforts in Andhra Pradesh, where the Deputy Chief Minister is actively overseeing operations, Pawan Kalyan has made a significant contribution. He announced a donation of Rs. 1 crore each to the Andhra Pradesh CM Relief Fund and the Telangana CM Relief Fund.

In addition to this, Pawan Kalyan pledged an additional Rs. 4 crores to support flood relief in Andhra Pradesh. This generous amount will be distributed among 400 flood-affected panchayats across the state. Speaking at a press interaction, Pawan Kalyan explained, “I felt that Rs. 1 crore wouldn’t be sufficient considering the scale of destruction caused by the floods. Therefore, I am pledging another Rs. 4 crores to the 400 panchayats impacted by the floods.”

He further added, “Our neighboring state, Telangana, has also suffered due to the floods. As a result, I am donating Rs. 1 crore to the TS CM Relief Fund. I will personally meet Revanth Reddy Garu to hand over the amount. To those who criticize me for not being present on the ground, I invite them to join my convoy to truly understand the situation. I also want to thank the film industry celebrities who have shown generosity and support during these challenging times.”
