Controversy Surrounding Allu Arjun:
Amidst the box office success, Allu Arjun is facing challenges due to the stampede incident during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. On Sunday, his Hyderabad home was vandalised by individuals claiming to be part of the OU JAC (Joint Action Committee of Osmania University students). These individuals were reportedly protesting the tragic incident, which resulted in the death of a woman and the hospitalization of her son during the chaos at the premiere.
In response to the vandalism, Allu Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind, addressed the press, stating that the offenders had been arrested and emphasizing that it was not the right time to react. He assured that the law would take its course. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy condemned the attack and assured strict action against those responsible.
Before this incident, Allu Arjun had apologized publicly to the victim’s family and promised to provide ₹25 lakh in financial assistance. He has also pledged to support them in every possible way.
