Since its theatrical release in December 2024, Pushpa 2: The Rule has dominated box offices across India, continuing the massive success of its predecessor, Pushpa: The Rise (2021). Fans eagerly awaiting the film’s OTT release can now look forward to streaming the much-anticipated sequel on Netflix. Reports indicate that Netflix secured the streaming rights for an impressive Rs 275 crore.
While the film is still running strong in theaters, fans will need to be patient for its online debut. Although Netflix has yet to announce an official release date, based on typical release patterns, Pushpa 2 is expected to land on the platform between February and March 2025, roughly 6-8 weeks after its cinematic release. The movie will be available in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
In terms of box-office performance, Pushpa 2 has already shattered records, earning an astounding Rs 70.3 crore on its opening day in India. As of now, the film ranks as the third highest-grossing Indian film, following Jawan and Stree 2. Directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, Pushpa 2 has garnered global acclaim for its powerful storytelling and captivating performances.
