Pushpa 2 Outshines Baby John at Box Office – Races Past ₹731 Crores Nett!

Pushpa 2 continues to dominate the Bollywood box office, cementing its position as a game-changer in the industry. Even three weeks after its release, the Allu Arjun starrer shows no signs of slowing down, especially in the Hindi-speaking market.

The film’s phenomenal performance outshone trade expectations on the Christmas holiday. On its 21st day, Pushpa 2 grossed over ₹15 crores nett, surpassing the opening day collections of Baby John, which managed an underwhelming ₹11.25 crores nett.

Baby John, an official remake of Thalapathy Vijay’s hit Theri, struggled to connect with audiences. Since the pandemic, Bollywood remakes have largely underperformed, as viewers increasingly favor fresh content in the OTT era.

The situation worsened for Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan, with a significant drop in collections today. Meanwhile, Pushpa 2 maintains its stronghold, with its total earnings now standing at an impressive ₹731 crores nett. The blockbuster is on track to cross the ₹800 crore milestone, solidifying its legacy in Indian cinema.
