Pushpa 2: The Rule Inches Toward ₹1,175 Cr Globally, Faces Hurdles in North America

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has taken the global box office by storm, emerging as a colossal money-spinner. The film has grossed over ₹1,175 crore worldwide and is on track to surpass blockbuster hits like Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, KGF Chapter 2, and RRR. Industry analysts predict that Pushpa 2 could secure its place as the third highest-grossing Indian movie of all time, following only Dangal and Baahubali 2, by the end of its theatrical run.

However, the film is facing challenges in the North American market. To achieve breakeven status in this key region, Pushpa 2 needs to cross the $15 million mark. As of now, the movie has garnered approximately $11.5 million from theaters across the United States and Canada. The film’s financial success in this region is now reliant on its second-weekend box office performance.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 features Allu Arjun in the lead role, with stellar support from Mollywood sensation Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna. The movie is jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, with Devi Sri Prasad delivering a chart-topping soundtrack that has amplified the film’s appeal.
