Actor Radhika Sarathkumar and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli recently bumped into each other on a flight from London to Chennai, resulting in an iconic selfie. Radhika took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the moment, thanking Kohli for indulging her. Both stars were dressed casually in T-shirts, smiling for the photo.
Describing Kohli as someone who “has the heart of millions,” Radhika wrote, “An Icon @imVkohli, loved by millions, was a pleasure to meet him on the travel back from London to Chennai. Said he was playing here, wish him more success. Thanks for the selfie.”
Fans were ecstatic to see the two icons together. One fan commented, “That’s the closest to a personal social media post from Virat we’ve gotten in a long time.” Another added, “Lovely to see an iconic actress showing respect to one of our greatest batters.”
Virat Kohli arrived in Chennai ahead of India’s two-match Test series against Bangladesh, with the first match scheduled for September 19. He has been residing in London with his wife, actor Anushka Sharma, and their children, Vamika and Akaay. This series marks Kohli’s return to Test cricket following a break after the birth of his son in February.
Radhika Sarathkumar, on the other hand, was recently seen in the films Merry Christmas (Tamil), Operation Raavan (Telugu), and Pavi Caretaker (Malayalam). She also headlines the TV show Thayamma Kudumbathaar.
