Rajinikanth’s Coolie Nears Completion – Pooja Hegde Joins for a Special Dance Number!

The highly anticipated action thriller Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Superstar Rajinikanth, is in its final stages of production. Adding to the excitement, actress Pooja Hegde is set to feature in a special dance number. The news was officially confirmed by Sun Pictures on Thursday morning through their X (formerly Twitter) handle, sharing a post that read, “Yes, you guessed it right! @hegdepooja from the sets of #Coolie.”

Major Filming Updates

According to sources close to the production, Coolie is nearing completion. Earlier this year, in January, Rajinikanth flew to Thailand for an important shooting schedule, which ran from January 13 to January 28. Prior to this, the superstar had revealed that 70% of the film had already been completed.

Coolie boasts a powerhouse cast featuring some of the biggest names across Indian cinema, including:

One of the key highlights of Coolie is the long-awaited reunion of Rajinikanth and Sathyaraj after nearly 38 years. The two last shared screen space in the 1986 Tamil hit Mr. Bharath, where Sathyaraj played Rajinikanth’s father. Interestingly, Sathyaraj had previously turned down roles in Rajinikanth’s blockbuster films like Sivaji and Enthiran.
