Rama Rajamouli, an acclaimed Indian costume designer and film stylist, has made significant contributions primarily in Telugu cinema. Her career took off with the 2001 film “Student No: 1,” marking her debut in the industry. Renowned for her exceptional work, Rama’s notable projects include “Magadheera” (2009), “Eega” (2012), “Baahubali: The Beginning” (2015), “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” (2017), and “RRR” (2022).

Rama Rajamouli Family:
Rama tied the knot with filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli in 2001 following the end of her previous marriage. Fondly addressed as Chinni by Rajamouli, she brought her son, Karthikeya, from her previous marriage into their family, whom Rajamouli later adopted. Additionally, the couple welcomed an adopted daughter named Mayookha into their lives. Karthikeya found his life partner in Pooja Prasad, who happens to be the niece of actor Jagapathi Babu. Notably, filmmaker Gunnam Gangaraju shares a familial connection with Rama as her cousin.
Rama Rajamouli Career:
Initially, Rama ventured into the entertainment industry in 2001 as an actor, portraying various minor roles in the TV sitcom “Amrutham,” which was created and produced by her cousin, Gangaraju Gunnam.
Following her marriage to S. S. Rajamouli, Rama transitioned into the role of a costume designer, making her debut in this capacity with the film “Student No. 1” in the same year. Since then, she has been actively involved in her husband’s projects, serving as a costume designer and stylist. In an interview with TV9, Rama cited Amar Chitra Katha as a significant source of inspiration for her costume designs in “Baahubali.” Additionally, for the film “RRR,” Rama also contributed as an additional dialogue writer.
