Rashmika Mandanna Reportedly Out of Prabhas’ ‘Spirit’; Here’s Why

Rashmika Mandanna, one of the most sought-after actresses in Indian cinema, is reportedly no longer in contention to star opposite Prabhas in ‘Spirit’, the much-awaited film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. According to a report from CineJosh, the actress has been dropped from the project following the underwhelming performance of her recent release, Sikandar.

From Box Office Queen to Casting Shuffle

Rashmika has had an impressive journey in Indian cinema, delivering back-to-back blockbusters like Pushpa 1 & 2, Animal, and Chhaava. Her previous collaboration with Vanga in Animal had placed her among the top choices for Spirit. Industry sources even hinted that she was nearly finalized for the role.

However, things seem to have taken a turn after the failure of Sikandar, where she starred opposite Salman Khan. The film failed to impress both audiences and critics. Additionally, her performance in Chhaava attracted criticism for her accent, sparking debate across social media platforms.

Could There Be a Second Chance?

Despite the current buzz, all hope may not be lost for Rashmika. The same sources claim that she has an open schedule starting from June, which could open the door for a potential comeback to the project. If the makers decide to bring her back, her remuneration is expected to be around ₹4 crore.

As of now, there’s been no official confirmation from the Spirit production team regarding any casting changes. Fans are eagerly waiting for a formal update to know who will finally be paired with Prabhas in this high-profile venture.
