Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, who initially planned to release Mass Jathara for Sankranthi 2024, had to postpone it to summer due to an on-set injury. While the film’s shoot is currently in progress, Ravi Teja is already gearing up for Sankranthi 2026 with a fresh project.
As per industry reports, Ravi Teja has signed his next film with director Kishore Tirumala. This collaboration brings an interesting mix, as Kishore Tirumala has delivered hits like Nenu Shailaja and Chitralahari but also faced setbacks with Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu and Red. Teaming up with a mass hero like Ravi Teja offers the director a great comeback opportunity.
The film is touted to be a full-fledged entertainer, featuring two female leads. Dragon actress Kayadu Lohar and Premalu fame Mamitha Baiju are reportedly in talks for the roles. Fans are excited as Ravi Teja aims for the Sankranthi season, a prime box office period for Telugu cinema. If the film garners positive talk, it could achieve massive numbers at the box office.
Sankranthi 2026 is already shaping up to be a competitive season with big releases lined up.
