Veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, known for his outspoken and often controversial social media posts, has once again stirred the pot with his latest tweet. This time, he revealed Allu Arjun’s staggering remuneration for the highly anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule.
RGV claimed that Allu Arjun earned a massive ₹287.36 crore for the film, dubbing him the “Tower Star.” In typical Varma style, he didn’t stop there—he took a dig at Mega Heroes, indirectly suggesting that Allu Arjun is “more MEGA than the MEGA.” Additionally, he trolled Ram Charan’s “Global Star” tag by giving Allu Arjun a new title, “Tower Star.”
The tweet drew mixed reactions from netizens. While some found the post humorous, others felt it unnecessary for RGV to provoke controversies, especially between fan bases.
Meanwhile, excitement for Pushpa 2: The Rule has reached new heights. An accidental post by Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty on December 3 sparked fresh buzz, seemingly confirming a third installment of the franchise. The shared photo of the sound team showed a screen in the background displaying the title Pushpa 3: The Rampage. Fans are now eagerly awaiting official confirmation.
