Veteran Tollywood director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV), known for his controversies and outspoken remarks, is once again in the spotlight. Over the past few years, RGV has openly criticized political figures like Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan. Now, with a new government in Andhra Pradesh, legal troubles have surfaced for the director.
AP police have registered cases against RGV, but he has allegedly avoided investigations multiple times without providing proper communication. Recently, Ongole police visited RGV’s Hyderabad residence, sparking rumors about his possible arrest.
In response, RGV’s lawyer issued a statement to the AP police, explaining that the director is tied up with scheduled shoots, and any interruption could lead to significant financial losses for his producers. The lawyer also proposed virtual questioning as an alternative and extended an apology on behalf of RGV for not being able to attend the investigation in person. the situation continues to develop as both parties navigate this legal clash.
