Sai Pallavi is among the few actors who effortlessly embrace a no-makeup look, confidently showcasing her natural beauty on and off-screen. Known for appearing bare-faced during shoots and interviews, the star recently opened up about her minimalistic approach to makeup in an interview with Pearle Maaney.
Sai shared that she avoids makeup in nearly all her films, opting only for a touch of eyeliner when necessary. “I only apply eyeliner,” she revealed. When Pearle asked if she used sunscreen, Sai replied, “No,” adding with a smile, “Bindi is always there.”
Reflecting on her film roles, Sai noted that Shyam Singha Roy was one of the few movies where she wore significant makeup, specifically a bold eyeliner for her character. For Fidaa, she used minimal eyeliner, explaining, “Under bright lights, your eyes may appear small, so eyeliner helps make them more visible.”
Since her debut in the Malayalam blockbuster Premam, Sai Pallavi has embraced her natural look, defying conventional beauty standards. Speaking in another interview, she admitted she doesn’t feel the pressure to wear makeup. “Maybe it’s just who I am. There’s a lot of pressure to look perfect, and I’m not against makeup—it can boost confidence. But I feel confident as I am, and I think I’m doing fine,” she shared.
