Actor Sai Pallavi’s sister, Pooja Kannan, recently married Vineeth Sivakumar in a traditional Badaga wedding in Ooty. The intimate ceremony, held on September 5, saw emotional moments between the sisters. Vineeth shared photos on Instagram, including a sweet moment of the couple laughing post-wedding and Pooja shedding happy tears as he tied the knot. Sai Pallavi, who helped her sister prepare for the ceremony, also became emotional during the event. Both sisters wore simple traditional white attire, embracing the cultural customs of the Badaga community.
Photographer Eshant captured candid moments, showing the beauty and simplicity of the Badaga wedding, which was held at Vineeth’s family home. Badaga weddings, known for their practical traditions, typically take place at the groom’s house, and vegetarian dishes are served during the festivities.
On the work front, Pooja made her debut in Chithirai Sevvanam in 2021 but hasn’t announced her next project. Sai Pallavi, last seen in Gargi (2022), has several upcoming projects, including Amaran in Tamil with Sivakarthikeyan, Thandel in Telugu with Naga Chaitanya, an untitled Hindi film with Junaid Khan, and Ramayana with Ranbir Kapoor. Amaran is slated for release on October 31, while the release date for Thandel is yet to be announced.
