Tollywood director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is known for his nonchalant attitude towards negative criticism of his movies, whether it’s “Animal” or “Arjun Reddy.” However, if he feels compelled to address criticism, he does so with logic and depth. Today was no different as he responded to recent remarks made by noted Hindi actor Adil Hussain in an interview.
In the interview, Adil Hussain expressed regret about his role in “Kabir Singh,” Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s debut Hindi film and a remake of “Arjun Reddy.” He mentioned being asked to extend his time on set while already committed elsewhere, negotiating for higher pay, and feeling regret after watching the film with a friend. Adil also revealed that he never recommended the movie to his wife.
Upon learning of Hussain’s comments, Vanga didn’t hold back in his response. He expressed his disappointment and stated that Hussain’s pursuit of fame overshadowed his artistic beliefs. Vanga went on to announce that he would digitally replace Hussain’s face in the film with AI technology.
As expected, Vanga’s response sparked mixed reactions online. It remains to be seen how Adil Hussain will respond to Vanga’s remarks. Meanwhile, Vanga is immersed in scripting his next project, “Spirit,” featuring the acclaimed Prabhas. Stay tuned for further updates on this front.
