Netflix recently set the internet abuzz with a teaser featuring superstar Shah Rukh Khan, hinting at something extraordinary coming to the platform. The anticipation reached a crescendo when Netflix unveiled the surprise: SRK’s latest release, “Dunki,” is now available for streaming on the digital platform, featuring Hindi audio and English subtitles.

Initially expected to premiere on Jio Cinema, the unexpected move to Netflix has sparked discussions among fans, with many wondering if the film will also land on other platforms.

Directed by the acclaimed Rajkumar Hirani, known for delivering some of Indian cinema’s most beloved entertainers, “Dunki” received mixed reviews from both audiences and critics. Despite this, Shah Rukh Khan’s star power propelled the film to gross a staggering 470 crores worldwide, with an impressive 220 crores nett collection in India alone.

The narrative of “Dunki” revolves around a soldier aiding his friends in illegally reaching the UK, offering a unique premise to audiences. Taapsee Pannu takes on the female lead role, while the immensely talented Vicky Kaushal shines in a pivotal cameo appearance. The film is produced by Gauri Khan and Rajkumar Hirani under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment, Jio Studios, and Rajkumar Hirani Films, with Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover playing significant roles.
