Tollywood actor Pawan Kalyan, who also leads the political party Janasena, initially promised to work for all people, irrespective of religion or caste. However, he has now aligned with the BJP, known for its Hindutva-driven agenda. It seems that Pawan Kalyan is following the same path and engaging in full-fledged Hindutva politics.

Currently, the actor-turned-politician is on a deeksha (protest fast) against the alleged mishandling of the Laddu preparation at the Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh. During this, he also criticized former AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, indirectly blaming him for the incident. In a surprising move, Pawan Kalyan took a strong stand against Tamil actors Karthi and Prakash Raj for their recent remarks on the matter, emphasizing the importance of respecting Sanathana Dharma.

These actions have taken many by surprise, as no one expected Pawan Kalyan to adopt a Hindutva-centric political stance similar to the BJP. Many are questioning whether the actor has forgotten that Janasena is an independent party, not an extension of the BJP. His shift toward religious politics has disappointed many, particularly since he once claimed to prioritize all religions and castes. However, in recent times, he has been primarily showcasing Hindu rituals and traditions through his ethnic attire, with little mention of other faiths.

The actor is also facing significant trolling on social media, where netizens have called out his apparent double standards on religious matters. Some are baffled by how Pawan Kalyan, leading an independent party, has seemingly adopted the BJP’s ideological stance, leaving many disheartened by his actions.
