Actor Shreyas Talpade, widely recognized for his exceptional dubbing work, including voicing Allu Arjun in the Hindi version of Pushpa, has landed in legal trouble over his alleged involvement in a multi-crore chit fund scam in Uttar Pradesh. The fraud case, which names Talpade among 14 others, revolves around The Loni Urban Multistate Credit and Thrift Cooperative Society Limited in Mahoba district. The firm is accused of deceiving villagers by promising lucrative investment returns, only to vanish when legal scrutiny intensified.
This isn’t the first time Talpade has been linked to financial controversies. A few months ago, he was reportedly involved in an investment scam worth ₹9 crores alongside veteran actor Alok Nath. Additionally, both actors were associated with a multi-level marketing fraud case in Sonipat, Haryana.
Despite these controversies, Talpade remains active in the film industry with upcoming projects like Welcome To The Jungle and Housefull 5, alongside Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt. His contributions to Hindi dubbing have been highly praised, particularly for bringing Allu Arjun’s Pushpa character to life for a wider audience. However, with these serious allegations looming over him, his future in the industry may be clouded by legal battles.
