Sobhita Dhulipala Opens Up About Her Decision to Keep Engagement with Naga Chaitanya Simple and Intimate

Sobhita Dhulipala, who has recently been in the spotlight due to her engagement with Naga Chaitanya, finally opened up about the simple nature of the ceremony. For the first time since their engagement in August, the popular actress shared her thoughts on her marriage plans. Sobhita also expressed her long-held belief in the institution of marriage and how she had always envisioned herself getting married.

During the promotional event for her upcoming film Love Sitara, the Made in Heaven star spoke candidly with Galatta India. Reflecting on her engagement and the emotions of that day, she said, “I didn’t approach the moment with any big dreams or expectations. It was very relaxed, simple, sweet, intimate, and warm. It turned out exactly as I had imagined it would.”

Sobhita also shared her love for the vibrant traditions that come with ceremonies like weddings and engagements, saying they bring a sense of heritage and connection to one’s roots. She revealed that she had always dreamed of getting married and embracing motherhood.

Discussing her ideal vision of marriage from her younger days, she added, “I always wanted ‘Teluguness’ to be part of special moments like my wedding because I’m deeply connected to my roots and very close to my parents. The traditional aspect was something I had always fantasized about.”

For those unaware, Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya got engaged on August 8, surrounded by close friends and family. Naga Chaitanya’s father, veteran actor Nagarjuna, shared the happy news with fans through a social media post.

It’s worth noting that Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu after a long relationship. However, the couple announced their separation in 2021, asking fans for privacy as they moved on. Despite their request, both actors remained under public and media scrutiny following their split.
