Now, the couple has started their pre-wedding celebrations, with Sobhita sharing snippets of her participation in traditional rituals. For the Godhuma Raayi ceremony, Sobhita donned a graceful pink Kanjivaram silk saree with green borders, a gift from her soon-to-be mother-in-law, Lakshmi Daggubati. Instead of opting for a designer ensemble, she chose this meaningful family heirloom.
Sharing beautiful moments from the event, Sobhita captioned them with “Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam 🦜🪷♥️ And so it begins!” In her traditional South Indian bridal attire, she actively took part in the ‘Pasupu Danchatam,’ a Telugu ritual marking the start of wedding festivities. Naga Chaitanya recently posted their first casual picture together since making their relationship official. The news of their engagement was confirmed by Chay’s father, Nagarjuna Akkineni, via Twitter, with the ceremony taking place at Chay’s home in Hyderabad.
