Sree Leela, alternatively spelled as Sreeleela, born on June 14, 2001, is an American actress actively working in the Telugu and Kannada cinema industries. Her career kicked off with a significant role in the Kannada film “Kiss” (2019), followed by appearances in Telugu films such as “Pelli SandaD” (2021) and “Dhamaka” (2022), the latter earning her the SIIMA Award for Best Actress – Telugu. Despite a successful start, 2023 proved challenging for her with three films, namely “Skanda,” “Aadikeshava,” and “Extra Ordinary Man,” facing both critical and commercial setbacks, impacting her professional trajectory.

Sree Leela, born into a Telugu-speaking family in Detroit, Michigan, US, on June 14, 2001, was raised in Bangalore, India. Her mother, Swarnalatha, a gynecologist based in Bangalore, had Leela after her separation from industrialist Surapaneni Subhakara Rao.

Initiating her training in Bharatanatyam dance during childhood, Sree Leela has aspirations beyond acting, aiming to become a doctor. As of 2021, she was in the final year of her MBBS.

In February 2022, Leela made headlines by adopting two disabled children.
