Sri Simha Koduri Biography:
Sri Simha Koduri, born on 23rd February 1996, is a rising talent in the Telugu film industry. He made his early mark as a child artist in the popular film Yamadonga (2007). After gaining experience in various off-screen roles, Simha made his official debut as a lead actor in Mathu Vadalara (2019), a performance that earned him the SIIMA Award for Best Male Debut in Telugu cinema.
Sri Simha Koduri Family:
Sri Simha Koduri was born on 23rd February 1996 in Hyderabad, Telangana. He comes from a renowned film family, with his father, M. M. Keeravani, being a prominent music director. Sri Simha is also the nephew of acclaimed filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli. His elder brother, Kaala Bhairava, is a well-known singer and music composer in the Telugu film industry.
Sri Simha Koduri Career:
Sri Simha Koduri has been a frequent presence in S. S. Rajamouli’s films, starting as a child artist in Yamadonga (2007), where he portrayed the younger version of Jr. NTR’s character. He also appeared alongside Jr. NTR in the promotional song “Follows Follows.” Behind the scenes, Simha contributed as an assistant music director for Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), while his elder brother Kaala Bhairava lent his voice as a singer. Bhairava has since become a prominent music director in Telugu cinema. Additionally, Simha worked as an assistant director for Sukumar on the set of Rangasthalam (2018).
Simha made his acting debut in a lead role with Mathu Vadalara (2019), earning praise for his natural and rugged performance. The Times of India highlighted his ability to convey emotions like fear and anger convincingly, stating that he “delivers a decent performance.” For his role, he won the SIIMA Award for Best Male Debut – Telugu. In 2021, Simha starred in Thellavarithe Guruvaram, and the first look of his upcoming film Bhaag Saale was released on 7th October 2022.
