The unveiling of Dhanush’s next film, “Kubera,” along with its captivating first-look poster, has sparked excitement among cinephiles. Director Sekhar Kammula’s portrayal of Dhanush in worn-out attire against the backdrop of Lord Shiva and goddess Annapurna has stirred curiosity.
According to a national media report, Dhanush is set to portray a beggar in this highly anticipated movie. Allegedly, the storyline will delve into the depths of Mumbai’s Dharavi slum, with the protagonist emerging from this milieu. Speculations suggest the character’s transformation into a formidable mafia leader, hinting at a narrative of ascension from destitution to dominance, aptly reflected in the title, “Kubera.”
The film boasts a stellar cast, with Tollywood luminary Nagarjuna in a pivotal role, alongside the enchanting Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Accompanying them is Bollywood talent Jim Sarabh in another significant character. “Kubera” is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations, with Sonali Narang serving as the presenter. Musical maestro Devi Sri Prasad is entrusted with composing the film’s score, adding further anticipation to this cinematic venture.
