The Sandhya 70mm stampede case escalated dramatically today when members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC) targeted actor Allu Arjun’s residence. The protestors hurled stones and eggs, causing damage to a part of the Pushpa 2 star’s property. They also demanded financial compensation from the film’s lead actors, insisting Allu Arjun pay ₹25 crore and Rashmika Mandanna pay ₹15 lakh to support the family of Revathi, the victim of the stampede.
As of now, neither Allu Arjun nor his family has released an official statement regarding the incident. However, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy strongly condemned the attack in a statement on X. “I condemn the attack on film personalities. I instruct the state DGP and the Commissioner of Police to act strictly on any incidents that disrupt the law and order,” he tweeted.
In light of the incident, CM Revanth Reddy also addressed the controversial comments made by suspended ACP Sabbati Vishnu Murthy, who had criticized Allu Arjun during a recent press meet. The Chief Minister directed the police department to take action against officers making public statements unrelated to the case.
