His father’s political legacy, which included serving as an MLA and MP, greatly influenced his entry into politics. After completing his primary schooling in Srikakulam, he pursued his education at Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram, Delhi, following his father’s relocation to Delhi due to his parliamentary duties.

Entering politics in 2012 after his father’s passing, Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu quickly rose through the ranks of the Telugu Desam Party. He successfully contested the elections for the Srikakulam Constituency in 2014, becoming one of the youngest Members of Parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha. Known for his proactive approach, he introduced a private member’s bill aimed at advocating for the establishment of the Andhra Pradesh Railway Zone with Vishakhapatnam as its headquarters.
