Over the past few months, the Tollywood trade has grappled with challenging times, primarily due to the absence of big-budget movies featuring top stars. In a disheartening development, numerous single-screen exhibitors in Telangana have made the difficult decision to close their theaters temporarily to mitigate their losses. Commencing from Friday, May 17, the majority of single screens across Telangana will remain shuttered for a span of 10 days, with hopes of reopening when circumstances improve in June.
