Ayodhya is in so much excitement as it gets ready to receive an estimated 5 million devotees from around the globe.
Uttar Pradesh government and district administration are fully engaged in organising the event.
The temple has decided to extend its operating hours so that better prepration can be done. Instead of the usual 14 hours, it will now remain open for 20 hours straight on April 16th, 17th, and 18th.
Phones, digital products, wallets and other expensive items are not allowed inside the temple area. only cash should be carried for donations and are advised to store other personal items in their hotel or in lockers to facilitate a quicker visit.
Everyone will get free prasad at the temple. Fruits, flowers, and other items will be gathered beforehand for the prasad.
Special fares for Ram Navami are announced for the air travelers.
The aarti at Ram Mandir will be broadcasted live by Prasar Bharati.
LED televisions will be set up at 100 different locations throughout Ayodhya for the public to watch.
