The trend of re-releasing films in Tollywood has brought about its fair share of surprises, with many highly anticipated re-releases failing to live up to expectations, while some previously unsuccessful films have experienced a resurgence, turning into major blockbusters during their second run. One such remarkable success story is the re-release of “Orange,” which, despite its initial failure during its theatrical debut, became a record-breaking hit upon its return to the big screen, setting new milestones in the process.

Conversely, SS Rajamouli’s “Magadheera” faced a contrasting fate. The film, starring Ram Charan and Kajal Agarwal, was a monumental success upon its original release in 2009, shattering Tollywood records and earning the title of an industry hit. However, the same cannot be said for its recent re-release, as the response has been disappointingly lackluster.
