Tollywood Independence Day Clash: Double Ismart vs. Mr. Bachchan

This Independence Day, Tollywood fans are in for a treat with the release of two major films: “Double Ismart,” starring Ram Pothineni, and “Mr. Bachchan,” featuring Ravi Teja. Directed by Puri Jagannadh and Harish Shankar, respectively, these films are set to face off at the box office.

A cold war has recently emerged between the two teams, especially after Charmme Kaur unfollowed Harish Shankar on social media. Harish Shankar addressed the issue, stating that Charmme’s decision was her own and explaining that his film is releasing on the same date due to a pre-existing OTT deal.

Tensions escalated further at the “Double Ismart” trailer launch in Vizag last night. The four-minute AV highlighting Puri Jagannadh’s work conspicuously omitted any clips of Ravi Teja, despite their successful past collaborations. Fans of Ravi Teja expressed disappointment, feeling that the trailer should have acknowledged his contributions alongside other stars.
