Top Engineering Colleges in Hyderabad

The results of the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Tests (EAPCET) 2024 were announced on Saturday. Following the announcement, many students are eager to know the top engineering colleges in Hyderabad.

According to the recently released National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings, four engineering colleges in Hyderabad are among the top 100 engineering institutions in India.

IIT Hyderabad Leads the List of Top Engineering Colleges in Hyderabad The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad is the highest-ranked engineering college in the city, followed by the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad.

Here is the list of top engineering colleges in Hyderabad that rank among the top 100 in India:

In addition to these, the following Hyderabad institutes are ranked in the 101-150 band:

  • Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology

The following engineering colleges in Hyderabad are ranked in the 151-200 band:

  • Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology
  • Institute of Aeronautical Engineering
  • Mahindra University
  • Maulana Azad National Urdu University

EAPCET 2024 Engineering Stream Results In the engineering stream, 2,40,618 students appeared for the examination, with 1,80,424 (74.98 percent) qualifying for admission. Among the male candidates, 1,42,716 took the exam, and 1,06,162 (74.38 percent) qualified. Out of 97,902 female candidates, 74,262 (75.85 percent) qualified.

EAPCET 2024 Agriculture and Pharmacy Stream Results In the agriculture and pharmacy stream, 91,633 candidates appeared for the test, and 82,163 (89.66 percent) qualified. Of the 24,664 male candidates, 21,768 (88.25 percent) qualified, while 60,395 of the 66,969 female candidates (90.18 percent) qualified.

The Telangana State EAPCET examination was conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), from May 7 to 11 across 21 test zones with 165 test centers in Telangana (134 centers) and Andhra Pradesh (31 centers).
