UI: Upendra’s Political Satire Struggles with Low Occupancy in Telugu States

UI, Upendra’s latest film, released on December 20, 2024, amidst moderate anticipation, especially in the Telugu states, where the actor enjoys a significant fan base.

Despite the initial buzz, the film opened to lukewarm reviews and struggled to make an impression at the box office. The lackluster response extended to single-screen theaters, with poor occupancy reported.

UI, a political satire set in a surreal world, failed to strike a chord with audiences in the Telugu states, primarily due to its confusing narrative and underwhelming execution.

In the latest development, theaters originally allocated to UI in the Telugu regions have now been reassigned to Pushpa 2 for the upcoming weekend. Stay tuned for further updates!
