However, the event took an unexpected turn when Vijay slipped and fell down a set of stairs as he was leaving. The incident, captured in a video circulating on social media, shows the actor briefly losing his balance and stumbling. Although he quickly regained his composure, his team acted swiftly, covering the cameras and asking photographers at the event to avoid filming the incident.

On the professional front, Vijay has faced a challenging few years. Both World Famous Lover (2020) and Liger (2022) struggled at the box office and received mixed reviews.
