Looking ahead, Vijay Sethupathi is set to star in Muthu Engira Kattan, an upcoming rural action drama web series for Jio Hotstar. Bollywood veteran Jackie Shroff will also play a key role in the project. Initially helmed by director Manikandan, who even shot a few episodes, the series is now seeking a new director, with Arumuga Kumar being considered for the role.
