Vikram’s Historical Epic ‘Thangalaan’ Faces Yet Another Delay

Anticipation continues to build for Vikram’s highly anticipated historical action drama, “Thangalaan,” which marks the actor’s maiden collaboration with acclaimed director P.A. Ranjith. Co-starring Malavika Mohanan, the film’s promotional materials have consistently captivated film enthusiasts, sparking widespread curiosity among audiences.

However, fans will have to wait a little longer as “Thangalaan” is set for another significant delay. Despite the completion of filming, the reasons behind the prolonged hold on its release remain unclear. Initially slated for a January 26th premiere, the film was later pushed to April, only to face another setback with the producer confirming a release post-elections, effectively moving it out of the summer lineup.

Featuring a stellar ensemble cast including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, and others, “Thangalaan” is jointly produced by Neelam Productions and Studio Green, boasting a musical score by the talented GV Prakash Kumar.
