Tollywood actor Vishwak Sen, known for his active presence on social media, has once again found himself in the midst of controversy. His upcoming film titled “Mechanic Rocky,” produced by Ram Talluri, recently saw its rights acquired by Asian Suresh Entertainments nationwide. However, a tweet from a notable film journalist stating that the film’s rights were sold for 8 crores sparked a reaction from Vishwak Sen.
In response, Vishwak Sen clarified that the rights had not been sold yet. This clarification did not sit well with netizens, who accused him of attempting to inflate the film’s perceived value by withholding the actual price, which they deemed modest at 8 crores. Many felt he should have refrained from commenting altogether.
Vishwak Sen has previously faced criticism and trolls on social media but remains vocal about himself and his projects. His recent film, “Gangs of Godavari,” directed by Krishna Chaitanya and set in the 80s, performed decently at the box office, grossing 8 crores worldwide. Starring Neha Shetty and Anjali in pivotal roles, the film is expected to settle as an average performer commercially.
