Vishwak Sen, acclaimed for his success with the experimental film “Gaami,” is gearing up for his next venture, “Gangs Of Godavari,” set to hit screens on May 17. The teaser for the film was unveiled today amidst much fanfare in Hyderabad, with director Krishna Chaitanya at the helm.
Set against the backdrop of the Lanka villages in Andhra Pradesh, the movie delves into the intense rivalries among various gangs. The teaser opens with a commanding voiceover by Sai Kumar, setting the tone for the unforgiving nature of vendettas in the Lanka villages. Vishwak Sen’s character finds himself targeted by his own associates, who perceive him as beyond salvation.
The teaser offers glimpses of adrenaline-pumping action sequences, hinting at a gripping narrative filled with turmoil and conflict. Vishwak Sen’s character asserts, “I don’t know if I am good or bad. But I don’t want to project myself as a good human,” adding layers to the complexity of his role. With impressive production values, striking visuals, and intense action sequences, “Gangs Of Godavari” promises an immersive cinematic experience upon its release.
Neha Sshetty, renowned for her role in “DJ Tillu,” stars opposite Vishwak Sen as the female lead. The film is being produced by Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas, with Nassar, Sai Kumar, and Goparaju Ramana in pivotal roles. Musical maestro Yuvan Sankar Raja is composing the soundtrack, further enhancing the film’s appeal.
