Mohanlal’s recently released action drama, L2: Empuraan become a Blockbuster. It has grossed so much in the box office that other films can not stand in front of the films box office collection. The movie grossed over Rs 260 crore at the box office worldwide. The movie is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and is currently the highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all time.
L2E makers on Monday officially announced a big reveal. They announced that they have spent a whopping Rs 170 crore on the making of the film. Mohanlal nor Prithviraj had taken a single penny and signed the project on a profit-sharing basis. While both actors have made profit by this deal because the movie became a big Blockbuster.
The film has a stellar cast including Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Indrajith Sukumaran, and others in prominent roles. Anthony Perumbavoor bankrolled the movie in association with Lyca Productions and Gokulam Cinemas. The film is currently streaming on Jio Hotstar.
