Nearly a year has passed since the release of the smash-hit romantic comedy “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke” in theaters, yet the eagerly awaited arrival of the film on OTT platforms remains pending. Starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles, the movie took the box office by storm, raking in over 88 crores nett.
But the wait is finally coming to an end. Recent reports suggest that the film is slated to premiere on Jio Cinema in May. Following a similar strategy as “Bhediya,” the digital release of this Varun Dhawan starrer was also delayed, only to be launched by Jio Cinema during last year’s IPL season.
This strategic move is anticipated to generate heightened interest in the film, mirroring the success seen with “Bhediya.” As the IPL season nears its conclusion, viewers can anticipate the digital release of “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.”
Directed by Laxman Utekar, known for his work on films like “Mimi” and “Luka Chuppi,” the movie charmed audiences with its memorable songs and the endearing chemistry between the lead pair. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyothi Deshpande, the film also features notable performances by Inaamulhaq, Sushmita Mukherjee, and Neeraj Sood.
