Tollywood star NTR recently visited Karnataka with his mother, where they paid their respects at the Kolluru Sri Mookambika Temple. Kannada actor Rishab Shetty was also present during the visit, which led the media to question NTR about his potential involvement in Kantara 2. Without hesitation, NTR expressed his willingness to be a part of the project.
Rishab Shetty’s presence at the temple sparked the curiosity about Kantara 2. In response, NTR warmly mentioned that if Rishab had something in mind, he was ready for it. While his comment was likely made in a friendly manner, it seems unlikely that NTR will actually participate in Kantara 2. The film is currently in production, but fans are now hoping to see Rishab Shetty and NTR collaborate on a different project.
NTR’s visit to Karnataka also appears to be a strategic move to promote his upcoming film Devara in the Kannada market. The film is generating significant buzz across multiple languages, and NTR is keen to maintain the momentum. He plans to visit other states as well to boost anticipation ahead of Devara‘s release. So far, two singles from the movie have become chartbusters, with a third already announced. Devara is slated for release on September 27th.
