Ram Charan Prepares for Physical Transformation and Comedy Role in RC 16 After Game Changer Release

Ram Charan is gearing up for the release of Shankar’s Game Changer and preparing to start filming for his next project, tentatively titled RC 16, with director Buchi Babu Sana. The actor recently hinted at a physical transformation for the upcoming film through an Instagram post.

Ram Charan’s Transformation for RC 16

Ram Charan shared a picture on Instagram of himself walking towards his trainer, sparking excitement among fans. His trainer, Shivohaam, also posted a photo with Ram and his pets, expressing enthusiasm for the journey ahead. Shivohaam wrote, “It’s an absolute honor to work with you on this transformation journey. Thank you, @alwaysramcharan, for having me on board as your fitness coach. I’m looking forward to the road ahead! It’s going to be great.”

Though few details about RC 16 are known, the film is rumored to be a sports drama. Janhvi Kapoor has been cast as the female lead, marking her second Telugu film after Devara: Part 1, alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan.

Ram Charan’s Comedy Debut in RC 16

At an event held by Hero in August, Ram Charan hinted at a new comedic aspect to his character in RC 16. He shared, “I have not done comedy, but you can expect that from me soon. My next film with Buchi Babu will be comedy-oriented.”

Recent Projects

Ram Charan was last seen in SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster RRR, co-starring Jr NTR, which was a massive success both in theaters and on OTT platforms. With his next release being Game Changer, expectations are sky-high. In the film, Ram will reportedly play an IAS officer in a story that tackles corruption in electoral politics. The star-studded cast includes Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Srikanth, Jayaram, Sunil, Samuthirakani, and Nassar, and the film is set to release in December.

Apart from RC 16, Ram Charan has also signed on to work with director Sukumar again after their successful collaboration on Rangasthalam
