Prabhas-led blockbuster “Salaar: Part One- Ceasefire” is dominating the box office, especially with the boost from the Christmas festival and the anticipated surge during the New Year period.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, “Salaar” has amassed ₹254.87 crore net within four days of its release in India. On its fourth day, coinciding with Christmas, the film is estimated to have earned ₹45.77 crore net.

The movie opened with a bang, collecting ₹90.7 crore net on its release day and continued its strong performance over the first weekend, reaching ₹118.4 crore net. Makers proudly announced on social media platform X that the film has achieved a global collection of ₹402 crore within three days.

Directed by the renowned Prashanth Neel, known for the KGF series, “Salaar” grossed ₹178.7 crore worldwide on its release day, breaking records. Superstar Prabhas’s immense popularity in Telugu cinema contributed to significant pre-release numbers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

As reported by film industry analyst Sumit Kadel, the theatrical rights for the film were sold for approximately ₹165 crore in the two Telugu states, making it the second-highest after SS Rajamouli’s “RRR.” Notably, “Salaar” is the third film to secure a deal exceeding ₹150 crore in AP-TG, following “Baahubali 2” and “RRR.”

The film has crossed the break-even mark of ₹200 crore, establishing itself as a box office hit. Produced by Hombale Films and initially scheduled for release on September 28, it was later pushed to December 22 for a worldwide theatrical release. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the star-studded cast includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruthi Haasan, and Madhu Guruswamy, with the film featuring 14 massive sets in and around Ramoji Film City.
