Suresh Kondeti Faces Fallout After Santosham Awards Debacle: Expelled from Telugu Film Bodies

In the aftermath of the Santosham Awards held in Goa, Suresh Kondeti, a figure known for his controversial press meet questions, found himself embroiled in a new controversy. The event, widely deemed a failure, led to accusations against the Telugu film industry. Allu Aravind, however, distanced the industry from the incident, clarifying that it was solely Suresh Kondeti’s undertaking.

Amidst the chaos, Kondeti issued an apology to the Tamil and Kannada film industries for any inconvenience caused. Despite the tumult, he remained defiant, stating, “Some people spreading false information about banning Suresh Kondeti (myself) from Tollywood press meets. Those news are utterly false; I was on a devotional trip. I will come back with a bang. Being a journalist for 31 years, I will be happy to serve Tollywood as usual.”

The Awards Event Mismanagement Fiasco took a toll on Kondeti’s standing within the Telugu film fraternity. The aftermath saw him expelled from the Telugu Film Producers Council and the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he was removed from the position of Film Critics Association President.
