Tamil actor Suriya is currently working on his highly anticipated big-budget film, Kanguva. Aiming for a pan-India release, the film’s teaser has already showcased Suriya’s impressive performance and the substantial budget behind the production. In an exciting development, the makers have officially announced a sequel, Kanguva 2.
Kanguva is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green banner. The film is set for release on October 10th, a date confirmed by the producer. According to him, director Siva had proposed four story ideas, with Kanguva being selected as the best choice. He mentioned that the film promises a visual spectacle, which Suriya himself endorsed.
Kanguva will now be a two-part series, with the script for the sequel already in development. The shooting for Kanguva 2 is expected to commence by the end of next year or early 2026. The sequel is planned for release in either January or April of 2027. With high expectations from fans and audiences, anticipation is sure to build further following the trailer release
