The Rise and Fall of Allu Arjun: From National Award Glory to Controversy

A few months ago, Allu Arjun was celebrated nationwide for his National Award victory, becoming the first Telugu hero to win Best Actor for his role in Pushpa. This achievement filled every Tollywood fan with pride.

However, the tide has turned, and Allu Arjun is now facing severe negativity from fans and movie lovers alike. The controversy began when he decided to campaign for the YSRCP Nandyal candidate, appearing publicly with the local MLA. This move upset many mega fans who support Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party, causing a backlash against Allu Arjun.

Professionally, Allu Arjun is also under fire. Critics blame him for pressuring director Sukumar about the release dates for Pushpa 2, despite Sukumar having significantly boosted Allu Arjun’s career with the original Pushpa. In contrast, Prabhas gave Nag Ashwin complete freedom during the making of Kalki and Ram Charan has shown similar patience with Shankar on Game Changer. Industry insiders and audiences alike are urging Allu Arjun to emulate Prabhas and Ram Charan’s more hands-off approach.

Adding to his woes, Allu Arjun’s professional decisions have been questioned. He initially committed to a film with Trivikram, only to put it on hold and collaborate with Atlee after Jawan’s success. When the Atlee project was shelved, he returned to Trivikram. These actions have led to further damage to Allu Arjun’s image.
