Vijay’s latest movie The GOAT has delivered an outstanding performance both in Tamil Nadu and in overseas markets. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film has already amassed a total overseas collection of approximately $17.6 million and is set to surpass the ₹150 crore mark by tomorrow. This achievement places The GOAT as the 5th highest-grossing Kollywood film overseas, following Leo, Jailer, 2.0, and Ponniyin Selvan.

The science fiction action film has performed exceptionally well across all international markets, achieving breakeven with a gross of $15 million. It is projected to reach around $19 million by the end of its theatrical run.

Additionally, The GOAT has joined the ₹400 crore club, becoming the 14th South Indian film to do so. In Kollywood, only a few films like 2.0, Vikram, Jailer, Leo, and Ponniyin Selvan have reached this milestone, making The GOAT the 6th Tamil film to achieve this feat. The movie is also steadily moving towards becoming the highest-grossing film in Tamil Nadu, a record currently held by Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 1.
