Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Reason for Not Joining Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

Malayalam star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran recently shared an intriguing revelation during the Telugu promotions of “The Goat Life.” He disclosed that he was approached to be a part of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ambitious project, “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.”

Prithviraj Sukumaran recounted, “In 2017 or 2018, Chiranjeevi sir contacted me through Suhasini Mam, wife of renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam, to consider a role in ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.’ It was a flattering moment for me, as Chiru sir had considered me for a significant role in his film, akin to receiving a prestigious certificate.”

However, due to prior commitments, particularly his preparation for “The Goat Life,” Prithviraj expressed his inability to take on the role. He shared, “Although I was eager to accept, I had to decline due to my commitment to ‘The Goat Life.’ Chiru sir graciously understood my situation.”

Prithviraj Sukumaran further revealed an interesting turn of events, stating, “Later, after transitioning into directing and achieving success with a hit film, ‘Lucifer,’ Chiranjeevi sir acquired the Telugu rights for it. During the Kerala event of ‘Sye Raa,’ I was invited as the chief guest. Chiru sir’s team even inquired about the possibility of me directing the Telugu version of ‘Lucifer.'”

While expressing his eagerness to collaborate, Prithviraj reiterated his focus on “The Goat Life,” preventing him from taking on additional projects at the time. He humorously remarked on Chiranjeevi sir’s remarkable memory, reflecting on their prior conversation.

In conclusion, Prithviraj expressed his admiration for Chiranjeevi sir’s warmth and revealed occasional messages exchanged between them, along with Ram Charan. He remained optimistic about the prospect of collaborating with Chiranjeevi in the future, highlighting the mutual respect and goodwill between them.
